Abstract
Vrijeme detekcije požara i početak njegova gašenja izravno je povezano sa štetama koje će zbog požara nastati. Požar može satima tinjati i ne prouzročiti veću materijalnu štetu. No, kada se razbukta, može prouzročiti ogromne izravne i neizravne materijalne štete i što je najgore teške ozljede ljudi moguće i sa smrtnim posljedicama.
